Job Description

As a Finance Accountant at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions - Update and maintain the books of accounts and ledgers - Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system - Ensure correctness and accuracy of accounts at all times - Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions - Knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements - Monitor any variances from the projected budget, accounting systems, and processes To be eligible for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or commerce - Any additional Post Graduate Certificate or Degree will get added preference - At least 6 months of US bookkeeping experience would be an added advantage Additionally, the ideal candidate would demonstrate the following competencies: - Knowledge of US accounting - Working experience of Quickbooks and other software applications for accounting for US entities - Accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting best practices - Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or another accounting framework - High attention to overall accounting systems and processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Produce work with a high level of accuracy - Periodical reconciliation, confirmation, and cross-verification of vendor accounts - Good understanding of financial statistics and US accounting principles - Experience in software like Sage and Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage Please note that the offer for this position will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience, and will be comparable with industry norms.,
