Senior Accountant/Chartered Accountant

• Oversee the financial operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for management review.
• Coordinate and assist with annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.
• Protect organizations value by keeping information confidential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Chartered Accountant (CA) + Graduation (in Accounting, Finance, or related field)
• CA Inter + Graduation ((in Accounting, Finance, or related field)
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
