Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant position at our luxury boutique requires an individual with a strong background in retail or jewelry accounting to oversee the financial operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally ERP, possess expertise in statutory compliances, and excel in financial reporting. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing end-to-end accounting operations and providing support for strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including sales, purchases, expenses, and banking transactions. - Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts using Tally ERP. - Prepare and submit GST, TDS, and other statutory returns within specified deadlines. - Supervise inventory and stock accounting, especially in relation to jewelry. - Generate various financial reports, cash flow statements, and summaries for management review. - Collaborate in audit preparations and liaise with external auditors. - Ensure adherence to tax laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Commerce/Finance (M.Com preferred). - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewelry or retail sector. - Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory. - Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. - Ability to work independently with precision and attention to detail. - Demonstrates high integrity and professionalism.
