Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

As a Financial Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of financial reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve preparing and reviewing financial statements, compiling regulatory reports, troubleshooting client issues, and contributing to the development of training programs for accountants in the alternative fund industry. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS - Compile and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, footnotes, and additional schedules - Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports such as Form PF and Form SLT - Contribute to regulatory reporting relationships through interactions with internal parties, clients, regulators (SEC), and audit firm personnel - Write and/or review various reports related to engagements and prepare adhoc reports for clients - Ensure accuracy of footnote disclosures by reviewing legal documents governing the fund - Identify errors or problems, independently investigate, and recommend solutions to team members or supervisors - Assist in the development of training programs for accountants in the financial reporting and alternative fund industry Qualifications: - Four to six years of asset management accounting experience in Accounting Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or other financial institution - Previous experience in Financial Statement Preparation - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 Accounting credits - Excellent communication skills Additional Details: Citco prioritizes the wellbeing of its employees and offers a range of benefits, training, education support, and flexible working arrangements to help you succeed in your career while maintaining a balance with personal needs.
