We are a Chartered Accounting firm based in Australia with a growing offshore office in Mohali. Established since 2016, we provide full-service accounting and tax solutions to a wide range of Australian clients. Our Mohali team works directly with us, ensuring end-to-end exposure to Australian compliance and advisory work.

The Role

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of Australian company, trust, partnership, and individual tax returns
• BAS, IAS, FBT and payroll compliance
• Reviewing work prepared by junior/intermediate accountants and providing feedback/training
• Managing client queries and correspondence with the ATO/ASIC
• Assisting partners with tax planning, structuring, and advisory projects
• Ensuring work is delivered to deadlines and high standards

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in Australian accounting and taxation (public practice experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with Xero and BGL (CAS 360, Simple Fund 360)
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior team members
• CA/CPA qualification (India or Australia) highly regarded but not mandatory
• Candidates that live locally around the area will be preferred
• You need to have strong attention to detail and should be able to work autonomously
• Good organisational skills are a must
