Senior Academic Counselor (Domestic)

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and parents about programs, career options, and admission procedures.
• Conduct one-on-one and group sessions (in person, phone, or virtual) to understand student needs and preferences.
• Assist students in choosing appropriate courses/programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.
• Convert inquiries into admissions by effectively following up via calls, emails, and other communication platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic departments to ensure smooth enrollment.
• Stay updated with course content, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Support students during the enrollment process, including document collection, fee counseling, and orientation.
• Participate in webinars, seminars, and promotional events to represent the institution or platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets/deadlines.
• Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and virtual communication tools.
• Empathetic, student-focused, and persuasive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
