Job Description

As a Cleanroom and Micro Contamination Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development, implementation, and enforcement of contamination control strategies in a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and maintaining cleanroom cleanliness policies, protocols, and specifications in alignment with ISO standards such as ISO 14644. - Monitoring and analyzing airborne particle and molecular contamination levels utilizing advanced metrology tools like particle counters and AMC monitors. - Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for contamination excursions or non-compliance events. - Collaborating with process engineering, facilities, and operations teams to ensure adherence to contamination control best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for defining and updating contamination control specifications for cleanroom design, gowning protocols, equipment installation, and maintenance procedures. You will establish and enforce factory-wide cleanliness standards and audit protocols while serving as the subject matter expert for micro contamination control in cross-functional teams. Your role will also involve providing contamination control expertise during factory expansion and tool installation projects, reviewing and approving cleanroom design layouts, airflow models, and material compatibility for new construction. You will coordinate with construction, facilities, and tool vendors to ensure compliance with cleanliness requirements during build-out and ramp-up phases. Furthermore, you will set particle and AMC performance targets, develop dashboards for real-time monitoring and reporting, conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards, and hold engineering and operations teams accountable for maintaining contamination control discipline. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in semiconductor cleanroom operations, contamination control, or facilities engineering. - Strong understanding of cleanroom classifications, airflow design, and contamination sources. - Experience with particle monitoring systems, AMC detection, and cleanroom validation protocols. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects. - Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills. Preferred skills include certification in cleanroom or contamination control (e.g., IEST, NEBB), familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition), experience with factory automation and environmental monitoring systems (EMS/BMS), and knowledge of LEED or other sustainable cleanroom design practices.,
