Segment controller, Accounting (Senior Manager)

In this role at Altisource, you will lead a team of accounting and analytical staff members to establish a structured accounting and financial reporting system for an $80M revenue stream. Your expertise will be crucial in developing best practices in finance and accounting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements, and managing general accounting functions including monthly closing and financial controls. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage accounting and analytical staff members to ensure a disciplined structure of accounting and financial reporting - Develop best practices in finance and accounting - Create systems and processes to adhere to US GAAP and SOX requirements - Manage general accounting functions including monthly closing and financial controls - Maintain strong relationships with title and real estate closing teams for accurate remittance and reporting procedures - Analyze financial results, trends, and prepare monthly financial reporting packages - Manage internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, insurance filings, and compliance requirements - Collaborate with operational leaders and corporate strategy team on annual budgeting Qualifications: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong technical hands-on accounting knowledge - Minimum of 10+ years experience in accounting leadership positions at recognized multi-national organizations, with Big 4 experience in Audit and/or Accounting - Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and focus on execution - People management experience - Hands-on knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS - Strong communication and presentation skills in English Altisource offers competitive salary, comprehensive insurance plans, wellness programs, paid holidays and days off, and various employee engagement activities.
