Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of hospital premises, staff, patients, visitors, and assets. The role requires strict adherence to hospital security protocols, effective monitoring, and prompt response to incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control entry and exit of staff, patients, visitors, and vehicles
• Maintain security registers, visitor logs, and incident records
• Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises, including wards, OPD, parking, and hostels
• Ensure compliance with hospital security policies and safety procedures
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage to hospital property
• Respond promptly to emergencies, security alerts, and incidents
• Assist in crowd control during peak hours and emergency situations
• Coordinate with hospital administration, HR, and local authorities when required
• Support fire safety, disaster management, and emergency evacuation procedures
• Ensure CCTV monitoring and report suspicious activities
• Maintain discipline and professional behavior at all times

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (as per hospital norms)
• Prior experience as a Security Officer / Security Guard preferred
• Experience in hospital or institutional security will be an added advantage
• Physically fit and alert

• Good observation and reporting skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
• Basic communication skills
• Integrity, discipline, and sense of responsibility
