Security Guard

Job Title: Security Guard Location: CHARNI ROAD Job Type: FULL TIME Reports to: Security Supervisor or Site Manager HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE WILL BE AN ADDED BENEFIT. Job Summary:The Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring premises, conducting patrols, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies. Key Responsibilities:Monitor entrances, exits, and security systems (CCTV, alarms). Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to detect and prevent suspicious behavior or unsafe conditions. Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, or security breaches. Control access to restricted areas and check identification when necessary. Write detailed reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when needed. Provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and clients. Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or violations. Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times. Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Proven work experience as a security guard or similar role preferred. Valid security guard license/certification (as required by local laws). Knowledge of public safety and security procedures. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods. Excellent observational and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Working Conditions:May require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Both indoor and outdoor assignments. Exposure to varying weather conditions and environments.
