Job Description

Job Summary:

Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain
security systems, tools, and infrastructure
(firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, VPNs).
Conduct
security assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk analysis
.
Monitor, detect, and respond to
security incidents and breaches
.
Implement
security policies, standards, and procedures
across the organization.
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to ensure
secure system architecture and application design
.
Stay updated on
emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Security certifications such as
CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or CISM
.
Experience with
DevSecOps, secure coding practices, and CI/CD security pipelines
.
Knowledge of
scripting or programming languages
(Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with
compliance standards
such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or GDPR.
Experience in
threat hunting, malware analysis, or SOC operations
.
