Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a Senior Analyst in the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) at Accenture, based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct investigations related to network intrusions and cyber incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Establish a chain of custody for evidence and conduct necessary computer forensics, including bit stream backups of suspect media and hard drive analysis - Conduct investigations related to embezzlement, intellectual property theft, harassment, fraud, and other types of fraud - Provide technical support to Human Resources and Accenture Legal & Commercial offices in conducting internal investigations - Coordinate with various groups involved in responding to intrusions and conduct follow-up investigations to incidents - Conduct forensic examinations of Accenture computers, mobile devices, and mail files - Triage cases coming to CIRT and perform cyber incident investigations - Determine the cause of security incidents and preserve evidence for potential legal action - Perform detailed forensic analysis on writable media such as hard disks, external drives, and mobile phones - Assess artifacts and close incident vulnerabilities as appropriate - Analyze potential infrastructure security incidents to determine if they qualify as legitimate security breaches Qualifications Required: - Very strong sense of ethics/values with the ability to handle confidential investigations discreetly - 1-3 years of media forensics experience, or relevant projects/training in media and live forensics - Good understanding of data networking, computer operating systems, hard disk forensics, mobile forensics, and computer hardware - Ability to manipulate and present data using MS Excel - Good understanding of forensics and intrusion detection - Good problem-solving skills - Good oral and written communication skills - Pursuing or holding certifications like GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, or similar Additional Company Details: Accenture's Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) is responsible for conducting investigations related to network intrusions and cyber incidents.
