Description
Administer, configure, and monitor Opswat MetaDefender Core and ICAP servers.
Implement and manage Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) workflows for files entering the environment.
Perform malware detection, vulnerability scanning, and file-type verification using Opswat tools.
Integrate Opswat with email gateways, web proxies, file upload portals, and storage systems.
Troubleshoot operational issues, performance bottlenecks, and false positives/negatives.
Maintain and update scanning engines and file policy rules based on security requirements.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure policies are enforced effectively.
Generate reports and dashboards on scanning outcomes, threats detected, and system performance.
Support audits and ensure compliance with data handling, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Maintain documentation, including SOPs, change logs, and configuration baselines.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise
2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or secure content management.
Hands-on experience with Opswat MetaDefender Core, Vault, ICAP, or Kiosk.
Understanding of CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction) and multiscanning principles.
Familiarity with common file formats (e.g., PDF, Office, archives, executables) and their threat vectors.
Experience integrating Opswat with third-party systems (email, web gateways, portals).Ready work in 24*7 shift
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with file upload security in web applications or cloud environments.
Scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
Familiarity with SIEM integration, alerting, and log analysis.
Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Experience in a regulated industry (banking, healthcare, government, etc.)
