Summary:We are seeking a SailPoint QA Lead to drive quality strategy, oversee test planning, and lead validation efforts across Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) initiatives. This role is responsible for managing a QA team, establishing testing standards, ensuring end-to-end quality of SailPoint IdentityIQ configurations, integrations, and releases, and working closely with development and operations teams to deliver stable and compliant IGA solutions
Roles & Responsibilities:-Lead the QA function across SailPoint IdentityIQ initiatives including enhancements, application onboarding, and upgrades.-Define QA strategy, test plans, and governance for end-to-end testing including functional, integration, regression, workflow, and connector testing.-Review and validate complex workflows, rules, tasks, and custom configurations to ensure high-quality solutions before deployment.-Manage a QA team, mentor junior testers, allocate work, and ensure timely execution of testing activities.-Coordinate with developers, architects, product owners, and operations to plan releases, resolve defects, and maintain quality standards.-Conduct in-depth analysis of SailPoint logs, task results, identity request failures, and workflow execution to support root cause analysis.-Ensure thorough regression testing after patches, upgrades, CI/CD deployments, and infrastructure or connector changes.-Own QA documentation including test cases, automation assets, traceability matrices, and release sign-off reports.-Drive improvements in QA processes, automation adoption, and best practices for repeatable and scalable testing.-Validate performance and reliability of scheduled tasks, provisioning flows, role calculations, and identity refresh cycles.-Coordinate defect triage, track issue closure across teams, and ensure alignment with SLA expectations.-Lead QA readiness for DR drills, environment refreshes, and post-failover validation activities.-Support compliance and audit requirements by maintaining clear and accurate test evidence
Professional & Technical
Skills:
-QA experience, with SailPoint IdentityIQ.-Strong understanding of identity governance, provisioning, role models, application integrations, and lifecycle workflows.-Proven experience testing LCM workflows, rules, connectors (AD, JDBC, REST), approval flows, policy violations, identity refresh, and aggregation.-Strong capability to read and validate logic in BeanShell / Java-based rules.-Proficiency in SQL, API testing (REST/SOAP), and backend data validation.-Experience in CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins-based build and deployment validation.-Hands-on experience analyzing debug logs, identity request XML, task logs, workflow logs, and provisioning results.-Demonstrated capability in team leadership, mentoring, and project coordination.-Strong documentation and communication skills, with ability to articulate test results to stakeholders.
Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
