Project Role Description :Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.

Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Vulnerability Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management across enterprise environments. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and tracking vulnerabilities, driving remediation efforts, and improving overall security posture. Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead vulnerability scanning and assessment activities using Qualys VMDR, Policy Compliance, and Asset Management modules.

Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and coordinate remediation with IT and application teams.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track vulnerability trends, remediation progress, and compliance metrics.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring vulnerabilities and recommend long-term fixes.

Collaborate with SOC, GRC, and infrastructure teams to align vulnerability management with broader security initiatives.

Ensure timely patching and configuration compliance across servers, endpoints, and cloud assets.

Maintain asset tagging, scan schedules, and policy configurations in Qualys.

Support audit and compliance requirements by providing evidence and documentation.

Continuously improve scanning coverage, asset accuracy, and false positive tuning.

Stay updated on emerging threats, CVEs, and vulnerability intelligence. Professional & Technical
Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

5+ years of experience in vulnerability management, with at least 3 years hands-on with Qualys.

Strong understanding of CVSS scoring, remediation workflows, and patch management.

Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and container security.

Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and SIEM tools (QRadar, Splunk).

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Qualys Vulnerability Management.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
