Summary:We are seeking an experienced SailPoint QA Engineer to lead quality assurance activities across Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions. This role involves validating end-to-end identity lifecycle workflows, application integrations, rule logic, connectors, and upgrade changes to ensure stable and compliant operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Design and execute test plans for SailPoint IdentityIQ features including LCM workflows, aggregation, provisioning, application onboarding, and role management.-Validate code changes, workflows, rules, and configurations delivered by developers prior to production release.-Perform regression testing after patches, upgrades, hotfixes, or environment refreshes.-Prepare and maintain test cases, test data, and reusable QA frameworks for ongoing releases.-Execute functional, integration, API-level, and end-to-end testing for identity lifecycle scenarios (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).-Verify connector functionality (JDBC, AD, REST, SOAP, Flat File, etc.) including provisioning, reconciliation, and correlation logic.-Analyse logs (debug, provisioning, workflow, server logs) to identify root causes of defects and validate backend processing.-Coordinate UAT cycles, defect triage, and resolution with development and operations teams.-Review configuration artifacts such as workflows, rules, tasks, application schemas, and custom objects to ensure compliance with QA standards.-Document test results, defects, and release sign-off for delivery and audit readiness.-Validate performance and stability of SailPoint tasks (aggregations, refresh, maintenance jobs).-Support DR testing cycles and validate functionality after failover or infrastructure changes.
Professional & Technical
Skills:
-QA experience, with SailPoint IdentityIQ testing.-Strong understanding of Identity Governance processes:provisioning, access review, birthright roles, and identity lifecycle.-Hands-on experience performing UI and backend validation for complex IGA workflows.-Ability to test rules written in BeanShell / Java by analyzing logic and expected outputs.-Experience validating Connectors (AD, JDBC, Web Services) and custom provisioning logic.-Proficiency in SQL queries for testing data transformations and backend validation.-Strong capability to interpret task results, identity requests, debug logs, and workflow logs.-Experience using tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Postman, or automation frameworks.-Familiarity with REST APIs and testing services integrated with SailPoint.-Strong analytical and documentation skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
