Securities & Derivatives AVP

As a senior level professional in the derivatives operations team at Citi, you will have a supervisory role overseeing maker level activities. Your role will involve various responsibilities including: - Clearing, Settlement, and Risk Management activities of clients" exchange traded derivatives transactions - Monitoring Margin, Position limits, and Trade confirmations, managing Cash and non-cash collateral - Reviewing and supervising operational activities for reconciliations and client reporting by makers - Supporting traders/execution desk with queries, reviewing contracting activities, calculating commissions, preparing MISs, and addressing ad-hoc queries - Reporting and reconciling trades and positions in Global systems like Clear Vision and GMI - Treasury management, funding arrangements, Senior management MIS reporting, and P&L reporting - Sanctions screening and Name screening - Familiarity with internal and Exchange applications for daily activities - Adhering to internal and exchange timelines, contributing to developments and automation initiatives, performing system UATs - Regulatory reporting with stringent timelines, complying with Citi Internal policy requirements - Imparting training to fellow team members Qualifications and skills required for this role include: - 4-7 years of relevant experience - Fundamental understanding of Capital markets and derivative products - Proven ability to handle various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment - Capability to work in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel Education: - Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance This job description offers an overview of the work performed in this role.
