Securities and Derivatives Intermediate Analyst - C11

This is a senior-level role in the derivatives operations team, with a supervisory reviewer role over the maker level activities. In this role, you are expected to oversee clearing, settlement, and risk management activities of clients" exchange-traded derivatives transactions. This includes margin monitoring, position limit monitoring, trade confirmations, cash and non-cash collateral management. You will also review and supervise operational activities for reconciliations and client reporting managed by the maker. Additionally, you will support the traders/execution desk with queries, reviewing contracting activities, calculating commissions, preparing various MISs, and addressing ad-hoc queries. Reporting and reconciling trades and positions in Global systems like Clear Vision and GMI will be part of your responsibilities. Treasury management, funding arrangements, senior management MIS reporting, P&L reporting, sanctions screening, and name screening are also key tasks. You should be familiar with various internal and exchange applications to complete daily activities, adhere to various internal and exchange timelines, actively contribute to various developments and automation initiatives, perform system UATs, handle regulatory reporting with stringent timelines, adhere to Citi internal policy requirements, and impart training to fellow team members. As a successful candidate, you ideally have 4-7 years of relevant experience, a fundamental understanding of capital markets and derivative products, a proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel. Education required for this role is a Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
