📌 Job Opening: Section Manager – Bedding

📍 Location: Erode, Tamil Nādu

🕒 Experience: 3–5 years in retail (preferably in home furnishings/bedding)

💼 Department: Home Furnishing / Bedding Section

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Section Manager to lead our Bedding Section (Level 1)This role requires strong team management skills, customer service focus, and knowledge of home furnishing products.

Responsibilities

Manage manpower, production and quality to meet production schedule

•Ensure optimum resource utilization with minimum wastage in the designated area.

•Ensure sufficient stock of all required material for production.

•Ensure smooth running of all machines and ensure machine uptime.

•Compliance to CWO / Production schedule.*

•Ensure production as per schedule to enable timely delivery.

•All business transactions should be recorded timely.

• Production schedule means Quilting Schedule, Cutting Schedule, Pasting Schedule,

Mattress Core manufacturing schedule etc.   Manage manpower, production and quality to meet production schedule

Qualifications

B.E( Mechanical) or equivalent

✅ Section Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of the bedding section

Ensure smooth customer experience, sales targets, and visual merchandising

✅ Quality Control

Ensure Quality check of all input received

• Ensure proper covering, tape edging and stitching of mattress as per specification (if applicable).

• Carry out quality inspection on the production line and quality check on finished products.

✅ Fire Safety Compliance

• Ensure stacking of Blocks / Bundles / Rolls / Core as per norms.

• Adherence to 5S norms

✅ Team Development

Conduct regular meeting with workers to ensure smooth work flow.

• Facilitate participation of workforce in continuous improvement activities.

✅ Work Relations & Coordination

• Work closely with Shop Floor In charge, Shift In charge and Maintenance.

• Work closely with other production supervisors to ensure smooth production handovers are effectively communicated.

• Close relation with other service departments.

• Close relation with Subordinates to ensure harmonious working conditions.
