The Secondary Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering student learning and development, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and engaging school environment. Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the subject area and curriculum.
• Employ varied instructional models and assessment methods to optimize student learning.
• Incorporate multicultural and host-country resources into lessons.
• Tailor teaching strategies to accommodate diverse student learning styles and stages of development.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and student-led inquiry.

Assessment and Feedback

• Develop and implement both formative and summative assessments to inform instruction.
• Provide students with timely, constructive feedback to support learning.
• Track student progress and modify teaching strategies based on assessment outcomes.

Collaboration and Support

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan, review, and improve instructional strategies.
• Support school-wide initiatives and professional development programs.
• Engage with parents and the broader school community regarding student progress and learning needs.
