The Secondary Teacher Design Technology is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Design Technology, fostering creativity and innovation, and supporting the mission and values of Oberoi International School (OIS). OIS provides structured support and resources to ensure the post holder can perform effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Safeguarding and Well-being

• Promote and uphold the well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Induction and Onboarding

• Participate in a comprehensive induction programme to integrate smoothly into OIS.
• Understand school policies, curriculum expectations, and operational practices.

Professional Development

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities aligned with OIS strategic goals.
• Attend workshops, training, and educational programs to enhance teaching and technical skills.

Teaching and Learning Support

• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Incorporate hands-on, practical activities and digital tools to support student learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Support Systems

• Utilize personal and professional support resources provided by OIS.
