Job Description

Role Overview: As a Financial Reporting Specialist at our company, your responsibilities will primarily revolve around preparing all SEC filings such as Form 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K, proxy statements, Section 16 filings, XBRL compliance, and any other necessary filings. Additionally, you will be entrusted with reviewing and documenting new accounting standards, writing technical accounting memos, and aiding in the implementation of these standards. Your role will also involve assisting in accounting and financial reporting matters related to potential acquisitions or divestitures, including purchase accounting, and providing support during quarterly reviews and annual audits. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare SEC reporting documents (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) with XBRL tagging in collaboration with external service providers - Compile footnote support schedules and tie-out support for SEC filings, along with completing disclosure checklists - Aid in researching and drafting technical accounting memos - Collaborate with the general accounting team to prepare corporate financial reports for internal and external SEC filings - Ensure compliance with SEC regulations by working closely with the legal team - Assist external auditors in managing the financial quarterly review and annual audit process - Conduct financial analysis and provide explanations for variances between actual and budget/prior periods - Ensure effective operation of internal controls over financial reporting, including disclosure controls and procedures - Participate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure accurate accounting of transactions and external reporting - Contribute to special projects and handle ad hoc requests as required Qualifications: - 0-2 years of experience in SEC reporting is preferred - Profound knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements - Experience in the software industry would be advantageous - Ability to collaborate effectively with management - Strong commitment to meeting all reporting and audit deadlines - Exceptional organizational skills and project management experience, particularly in managing large-scale/global initiatives Certifications: - CA - CPA certification is preferred (Note: The additional details of the company have been omitted as they were not provided in the job description.),
