SE / Azure Security Operations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Operations Specialist to design, implement, and manage security controls across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vulnerability management, compliance assessment, and security policy enforcement, with hands-on experience in Linux systems and familiarity with networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security controls for Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-prem private cloud environments.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, analyze results, and drive remediation efforts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and enforce security policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
• Maintain and monitor security configurations for cloud workloads and applications.
• Provide operational support for Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and related security tools.
• Document processes, prepare reports, and assist in audits and compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in cloud security operations (Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment, compliance frameworks, and security policies
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and applications
• Familiarity with network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, MPLS, etc)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes
• Good understanding of cloud security best practices and regulatory compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent (eg, CompTIA Security+, Azure Security Engineer Associate)
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of SIEM tools, incident response, and security automation
