Sdwan Design and Implementation Engineer

Role Summary:

Infrastructure Delivery Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Delivery

• Execute infrastructure projects related to

  Network (LAN/SD-WAN/Wireless)

  technologies from planning through implementation.
• Work in alignment with the

  PMO team

  to ensure timelines, scopes, and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compute, Security, and Endpoints for integrated delivery.

Technical Oversight & Implementation

• Ensure correct design and configuration of network components as per project requirements.
• Validate network infrastructure handoff to Operations, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementation and coordinate resolutions with engineering teams.

Process & Governance

• Follow

  Infrastructure Delivery

  framework and project documentation standards.
• Ensure all relevant configuration items (CIs) are accurately updated in the

  CMDB

  .
• Adhere to change management and governance practices, including peer reviews and proper change records in ServiceNow.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as the delivery point of contact for PMs, architects, and operational stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning discussions and readiness assessments.
• Collaborate during project handoff to ensure seamless transition to

  Operations teams

  .

Continuous Improvement

• Identify gaps in current delivery or documentation processes and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to the creation of standard documentation templates, KB articles, or checklists.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands on experience in

  Network Infrastructure delivery

  roles (LAN, SD-WAN, Wireless appliances).
• Hands-on experience in technologies like

  SD-WAN(Viptela), Meraki, ISE, Cisco Catalyst switches.

• Strong understanding of

  ITIL processes

  , especially Change Management and CMDB practices.
• Familiarity with project coordination in a cross-functional delivery environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
