SDET Tester

Role Overview: As an SDET Tester with 7+ years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automated test frameworks and scripts. You will act as a subject matter expert for multiple automation tools, guiding teams on best practices and tool adoption. Collaboration with multiple QA teams to define test strategies and ensure product quality will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, while also establishing and maturing the testing practice for new and existing teams. Driving test automation coverage across web, API, and backend services and mentoring junior QA engineers and SDETs will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving automation issues in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test frameworks and scripts. - Act as SME for multiple automation tools, guiding teams on best practices and tool adoption. - Collaborate with multiple QA teams to define test strategies and ensure product quality. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Establishing and maturing the testing practice for new and existing teams. - Drive test automation coverage across web, API, and backend services. - Mentor and coach junior QA engineers and SDETs. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation issues in a timely manner. Qualification Required: - 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation. - In-depth knowledge of end-to-end testing methodologies and best practices. - Proven expertise in at least two automation tools, preferably Cypress and Playwright. - Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python. - Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, requests library). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge on security\pen testing is a huge advantage. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. In addition, the company prefers candidates with experience testing Gen AI and analytics products (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs), knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6), and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.,
