SDET Engineer

You will play a key role as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our client, a leading precision medicine firm dedicated to combating cancer through advanced diagnostic technology. Your responsibility will involve ensuring the quality and performance of software products by designing and implementing testing frameworks and automated tests. Collaboration with development teams will be essential in selecting testing strategies, writing test scripts, and driving software quality initiatives aligned with the mission to provide innovative solutions in oncology diagnostics. - Design and develop automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements - Participate in code reviews and design discussions, providing input on software quality - Advocate for and implement best practices in testing and QA processes - Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring clear documentation - Collaborate with developers to address issues found in testing - Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes - Stay up to date with emerging technologies in the QA landscape - 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance as SDET or similar role - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or similar) - Extensive experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) - Hands-on experience with APIs testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI - Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus - Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and processes - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure - Solid understanding of agile methodologies and development practices - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent experience,
