SDET Core Java Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SDET Core Java Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing automated test scripts using Java.
• Collaborating with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Implementing testing strategies to ensure software quality and performance.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality.
• Executing automated tests and analyzing results to identify defects.
• Maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Reporting and tracking defects using defect management tools.
• Continuously improving the automation process and toolsets.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in software development and testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Jenkins or Git.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
