As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for a variety of clients across different industries. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex, custom distributed software systems, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and maintainable. You will champion clean code architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns to maintain high standards of code quality across projects. Additionally, you will actively participate in Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Collaboration is key in our team, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers. You will also mentor less experienced team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and shared ownership. Problem-solving is a core part of this role, as you will tackle challenging technical problems with innovative solutions while always prioritizing customer success and measurable outcomes. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in backend software development, with a focus on building custom enterprise-grade applications. Deep expertise in the Java ecosystem, including Spring Framework and related technologies, is essential. You should also have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, API design, and distributed system patterns. Experience with various database technologies, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
