Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Your expertise in working with Linux, cloud platforms, automation, and modern DevOps tools will be crucial to the success of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Managing Linux servers such as Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian, etc., and Windows Server - Handling DNS, DHCP, user/permission management, and security tools like Fail2Ban, CSF, and SELinux - Proficient in networking concepts including IP, subnetting, routing, NAT, VPN, VPC, and load balancers - Conducting database operations on MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Memcached - Working with Docker containers, Docker Compose, and basic Kubernetes concepts - Utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure for compute, storage, networking, and IAM - Setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Bitbucket - Automating tasks using Bash and Python - Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform - Monitoring and logging activities with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki - Managing application deployments including monolith and microservices, blue-green, and rolling deployments - Configuring CDN with CloudFront/Cloudflare, Nginx/Apache for reverse proxying Qualification Required: - Strong fundamentals in Linux - Good understanding of networking basics - Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD - Basic knowledge of cloud platforms - Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis - Basic proficiency in Ansible and Terraform - Knowledge of monitoring tools - Effective communication and problem-solving skills Additional Details: - SSL setup with Nginx/Apache is a plus - Experience with Kubernetes in production environments is advantageous - Knowledge of GitOps tools like ArgoCD and FluxCD is beneficial - Familiarity with messaging queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS - Understanding of microservice architecture would be an added advantage Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
