SDE II - Backend

You will work closely with Leads and Product teams, assisting in design and code reviews within the team. Your role will involve writing highly optimized and performant code using appropriate design patterns and data structures. You will actively participate in architectural discussions and drive changes to align with business goals. Additionally, you will be involved in re-architecting sub-systems as required to support business growth. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in working on highly scalable systems. Proficiency in Core Java Programming and related backend Java Frameworks like Spring is essential. You should possess a solid understanding of distributed programming concepts and be able to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches. Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc., is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures, and advanced concurrency skills in Java are required. You must have a good command of JDBC, relational database systems, and experience in Java performance tuning. Furthermore, you should have an understanding of distributed design practices and a willingness to continue learning. Knowledge of design patterns and their practical application is important, along with a commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD). As a self-driven individual with a keen eye for detail, you should be a strong collaborator and possess the skills to engage in and lead technical discussions.
