SDE I - Software Engineer (RUST)

As a Software Engineer (RUST) at SparkTG, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of sub systems for telephony products by designing, building, and maintaining robust modules. You will be an integral part of a small, agile, and collaborative tech team working towards enhancing the backbone of our telephony products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Document the design of features within the software system. - Implement, test, and maintain features in the form of robust libraries. - Develop simple APIs to bundle a variety of robust services. - Perform continuous debugging, profiling, and performance optimization of sub-systems. - Ensure timely completion of modules with strict adherence to quality processes. - Stay updated with technical knowledge and skills through in-house and/or external courses, manuals, and new technologies. - Apply problem-solving skills to meet project needs individually or as part of a team. - Contribute to enhancing and maintaining the work culture and environment. **Qualifications Required:** - 2 to 4 years of experience in developing with RUST. - Proficiency in databases like PostgreSQL. - Strong attention to code quality and readability. - Extensive knowledge of advanced data structures and algorithms. - Experience in multi-threaded programming and key-value store optimization. - Native-level proficiency in written and oral English. - Excellent communication skills. **Bonus Qualifications:** - Experience in consuming and contributing to open source codebases. - Exposure to Python and ElasticSearch. - Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, Gitflow). - Previous experience with speech to text implementations.
