About the Role

Mirai School of Technology is looking for a dynamic professional who can combine expertise in

Software Development Engineering (SDE) with a passion for teaching and mentoring. The

role involves designing and delivering cutting-edge curriculum, guiding students through

hands-on learning, and preparing them for successful careers in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development:

Design, update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, and practical assignments

aligned with the latest industry standards and technologies.

• Instruction:

Conduct engaging lectures, technical workshops, and lab sessions on topics such as

programming languages, databases, frontend/backend development, and computer

architecture.

• Mentorship & Student Support:

Provide individual mentoring, academic guidance, and project support to help students

excel in both their coursework and career preparation.

• Assessment & Feedback:

Develop quizzes, tests, and project evaluations to measure student progress and share

constructive feedback.

• Industry Collaboration:

Collaborate with fellow faculty, industry professionals, and academic leaders to ensure

curriculum relevance and innovation.

• Learning Environment:

Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and hands-on classroom environment that encourages

curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

• Technical Expertise:

Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer with strong knowledge of

programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript), databases, cloud

technologies, and version control systems.

• Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills with the ability to

simplify complex concepts.

• Instructional Skills:

Prior experience in teaching/training, instructional design, or working with learning

management systems (LMS). Ability to motivate, engage, and support diverse learners.

• Adaptability:

Passion for continuous learning, staying updated with new technologies, and adapting

teaching methods to different learning styles.
