About the Role:

Teachmint is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML engineer with strong backend experience to join our team. Youll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend AI systems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into our products and services

Key Responsibilities:

Expertise on Agentic AI and hands on experience with multimodal LLMs.
Design and develop backend AI systems: Create scalable and efficient backend systems that integrate AI capabilities, such as machine learning models, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Develop and deploy AI models: Work with data scientists to develop and deploy AI models that meet business requirements.
Ensure system reliability and performance: Design and implement systems that ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into products and services.
Mentor junior engineers: Share knowledge and expertise with junior engineers and help them grow in their roles.

Preferred requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
Experience with AI frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Unittest).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
