As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 3) Backend AI Engineer at Teachmint, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend AI systems. Your expertise in Agentic AI and hands-on experience with multimodal LLMs will be instrumental in integrating AI capabilities into the company's products and services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop backend AI systems: Create scalable and efficient backend systems that incorporate AI capabilities such as machine learning models, natural language processing, and computer vision. - Develop and deploy AI models: Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy AI models that align with business requirements. - Ensure system reliability and performance: Implement systems that guarantee high availability, scalability, and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into products and services. - Mentor junior engineers: Share your knowledge and expertise with junior engineers to aid in their professional development. **Preferred Requirements:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in backend development. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. - Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. - Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Nice to Have:** - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Unittest). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
