SDE-1 Python Developer

As an SDE-1 (Software Development Engineer - 1) at our Noida location working from the office, your primary focus will be on backend development using Python. You should have a strong proficiency in Python and be knowledgeable about frameworks like Django and FastAPI for constructing high-performance APIs. Familiarity with gRPC Server & Client implementation and experience in creating RESTful APIs with Django or FastAPI will be essential. Understanding asynchronous programming with async/await is important to enhance scalability and response time. In addition to Python, you should have expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. Your responsibilities will include containerization using Docker, creating Docker images, configuring Dockerfile, and deploying applications within containers. Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including concepts like Pods, Deployments, Services, and ConfigMaps, will also be required. Maintaining coding standards, best practices, and high-quality code is crucial. You should be adept at using tools such as linters, formatters, and version control systems like Git. Emphasizing modular, maintainable, and testable code will be a priority. Additional skills that would be beneficial for this role include familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), understanding CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Your responsibilities will involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining APIs using Python and FastAPI/Django, utilizing Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth integration and delivery.
