Scrum Master (C12)/AVP

You will be an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) Scrum Master joining our dynamic Agile team at Citi. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the Agile methodology within our organization, with a specific focus on Scrum practices. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure timely and successful project deliveries aligned with Citi's strategic goals. As a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, you will foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices. Coaching and mentoring team members on Agile frameworks and methodologies to promote self-organization and accountability will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for removing impediments or guiding the team to resolve issues by finding the right personnel or resources. Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and manage dependencies, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and tracking team progress and performance metrics. Regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. Fostering a positive team environment that encourages innovation and creativity while delivering high-quality products and services will be essential. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably within the financial services industry. A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is necessary, with a Masters degree preferred. A proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies and driving Agile transformation is essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in a leadership role within Agile teams, advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) in a large organizational setting, knowledge of DevOps principles and practices including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements are advantageous.
