Science Communication Intern

Experience: 0 - 2 years

Key Responsibilities:

● Translate complex scientific concepts into engaging narratives for various platforms.

● Create infographics, animations, and explainer videos to simplify research findings.

● Collaborate on the NRG social media strategy, maintaining an active and engaging content calendar. research findings reach the right audience.

● Keep up with the latest trends and create reels and posts that keep the page relevant.

● Develop targeted content for different social media platforms such as LinkedIN, Instagram, X and Youtube.

● Write blog articles to summarise and popularise NRG’s research work for a larger audience.

● Engage with industry professionals, researchers, and policymakers to increase NRG’s visibility.

● Track engagement metrics and refine strategies based on audience insights.

● Market NRG services on social media platforms proactively.

● Design promotional flyers, brochures and pitch decks to market NRG services.

● Ideate, produce and edit the NanoReach Podcast.

Qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field.

● Experience: 1+ years in science communication, public engagement, content creation, or a related field. Experience in digital media and conference organization is a plus.

Skills: ● Expertise in written, verbal and visual communication ● Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

● Strong ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.

● Knowledge of visual storytelling, infographics, and multimedia content creation.

● Proficiency in graphic design and video editing softwares.

● Experience in organizing and managing scientific conferences, workshops, and public engagement programs.

● Strong leadership and team management abilities.

● Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset. ● Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to work as part of a team. ● Familiarity with current trends in science communication and digital media.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
