Scaled Abuse Analyst, Trust and Safety, YouTube

Role Overview: You will be part of YouTube's Trust & Safety team, dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for users, viewers, and content creators worldwide. Your role will involve analyzing data and contributing to strategies aimed at reducing network abuse on YouTube. You will need to make data-driven recommendations while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Apply advanced statistical methods to datasets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem and develop new workflows to combat abuse. - Learn technical concepts and systems to deliver results, communicate technical findings, and manage technological solutions for quality assurance. - Conduct fraud and spam investigations using multiple data sources, identify product vulnerabilities, and drive anti-abuse experiments. - Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve workflows through process enhancements, automation, and anti-abuse system creation. - Develop training materials, facilitate communication with business stakeholders, and design prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance accuracy in identifying abusive content and behavior. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 1 year of experience in data analysis, project management, and using SQL, R, Python, or C++. - Experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation. - Familiarity with classification systems, ranking systems, LLMs, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents. - Ability to work with global teams, synthesize datasets, perform statistical modeling, and translate insights into business strategies.
