Role Overview: We're seeking a dynamic, technically hands-on SW Technical Leader to own and scale our Partner Integration team for SMSMagic Conversive at our Pune office. You'll lead a group of Technical integration engineers, define our SDK/API strategy, and drive on-time delivery of reusable connectors across CRMs, CPaaS providers, and messaging channels, and collaborate on Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to ensure the integration's success. Understand SaaS-based platforms, SDK development, and integration strategies, and have a strong orientation to assess feasibility and value propositions for partner collaborations. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Growth- Recruit and mentor a high-performing development team (both frontend and backend) of 610 integration engineers and contractors. Technical Strategy & Architecture- Define and evolve a modular SDK/API frameworkauthentication, messaging, voice, webhooks, embeddable widgets, compliance, and AI. SDK Enhancement- Lead the evolution of SMS Magic's SDK from Version 1.0 to Version 2.0, incorporating partner feedback, market trends, and best practices. Feature Integration- Introduce advanced features to the SDK, such as improved API interfaces, enhanced documentation, and streamlined developer tools. Delivery & Execution- Oversee end-to-end delivery of 810 connector projects per quarter (e.g., Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Dialpad, RCS). Ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Liaise with Product Management, DevOps, QA, and Customer Success to align roadmap, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and support escalations. Process Optimization- Implement agile best practices, sprint planning, code reviews, and metrics-based performance tracking (velocity, defect escape rate, timetoonboard). Stakeholder Communication- Present roadmap status, risks, and wins to CTO and leadership; advocate for engineering needs and resource allocation. What will qualify you for this role?: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related. 7 + years of Core hands-on software engineering , with 3+ years leading integration and or platform efforts Strong expertise in Python, React.js, HTML/CSS, etc, deep knowledge of RESTful/ GraphQL APIs, microservices, OAuth2, webhooks, and SDK design. Proven track record of creating Technical components, Roadmaps, libraries, and shipping scalable connectors to CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and CPaaS/Messaging platforms (e.g, Twilio, Vonage, WhatsApp). Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and test automation frameworks. Excellent communicator—comfortable presenting to C-level executives and inspiring the Global developer community. Strong bias for action with a continuousimprovement mindset and ability to thrive under shifting priorities. Great toHave Experience in compliance modules (TCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, DLT) and AI/ML integration for conversational flows. Prior involvement with public SDK or Developer Portal launches and opensource ecosystems. Familiarity with enterprise CTI protocols (SIP, WebRTC) and voicetoSMS fallback logic.
