Job Summary: We are looking for a talented SCADA Developer with expertise in Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and a strong interest in digital twin technologies and real-time dashboard development . This role is perfect for a developer who thrives at the intersection of industrial systems, data visualization, and advanced analytics. Youll be instrumental in creating interactive SCADA solutions and digital replicas of physical assets, enabling smarter operations, predictive maintenance, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop SCADA applications using Ignition , including HMI/SCADA systems, alarms, and historical trending. Build dynamic, real-time dashboards that visualize KPIs, operational metrics, and machine performance using Ignition Perspective. Develop and maintain digital twins of production lines, machines, or entire facilities—leveraging live sensor data, control system integration, and historical analytics. Integrate SCADA systems with data historians , MES platforms, and IoT devices via OPC UA , MQTT , REST APIs , and other industrial protocols. Script within Ignition (Python, Expression Language) to enable intelligent behaviors, calculations, and interactions within dashboards and digital twins. Collaborate with operations, controls, and IT teams to align SCADA and digital twin solutions with business and production needs. Participate in the design of scalable architectures for multi-site SCADA deployments and edge-to-cloud data flows . Ensure all solutions follow cybersecurity best practices and are resilient against downtime. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience with SCADA development using Ignition (version 7.9 or above). Solid scripting experience using Python inside Ignition for automation and customization. Proven experience building custom dashboards , visual reports, and responsive user interfaces using Ignition Perspective . Familiarity with digital twin concepts , including data modeling, real-time synchronization, and simulation integration. Experience with industrial protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Preferred Qualifications: Ignition Certification (Core and/or Gold) highly desirable. Experience with digital twin platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Omniverse, Siemens Xcelerator, ANSYS Twin Builder) or custom-built digital twin solutions. Familiarity with time-series databases and industrial data historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI, Canary Labs, InfluxDB). Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and industrial edge computing. Experience working with MES systems , predictive analytics, or machine learning integrations. Knowledge of Git and DevOps practices for deployment and version control.
