SAS GCM Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAS Governance and Compliance Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and ongoing management of our SAS environment using SAS Governance and Compliance (SAS GRC). You will play a key role in mitigating risks, maintaining compliance with regulations, and promoting best practices for data governance.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.Create and enforce guidelines for data management and compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor and ensure adherence to compliance standards, including GDPR other relevant regulations.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.Oversee data management practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Implement and maintain data security measures, including access controls and encryption.Collaborate with business and IT teams to align governance and compliance practices with organizational goals.Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding governance policies, compliance status, and related issues.Provide training and support to users on data governance framework and compliance best practices.Develop and maintain documentation for governance and compliance procedures.Generate and review compliance and governance reports for internal and external stakeholders.Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:Graduation & above Minimum 2-4 years of experience Proven experience in implementing and using SAS Governance and Compliance. Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
