Job Description

SAP FP&A Functional Test Manager

The Role -

11 to 16 years

  • Own EndtoEnd FP&A Solution Strategy. Lead the design, governance, and continuous enhancement of SAP FP&A solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational financial planning and reporting needs.
  • Drive Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Excellence. Oversee the development of robust planning models, forecasting frameworks, and performance dashboards to support strategic decisionmaking across the business.
  • Lead CrossFunctional Stakeholder Engagement. Partner with finance leadership, business units, and IT teams to define requirements, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration across systems and functions.
  • Manage Team Delivery & Project Execution. Supervise consultants and analysts, ensuring highquality delivery of SAP FP&A implementations, upgrades, and support activities while maintaining project timelines and standards.
  • Champion Process Optimization & Automation. Identify opportunities to improve planning cycles, enhance data accuracy, and implement automation and bestpractice methodologies to elevate FP&A maturity.
  • Applying your expertise on financial processes in the analysis, design, and end to end delivery as a trusted consultant in our clients SAP Financials implementation projects.
  • Leading workshops and driving discussions on topics across the finance domain.
  • Experienced in managing teams and clients through various phases: Unit, QA, Integration, System, Smoke, Interface, Regression, UAT.
  • Hands on data staging/Testing and Management in Workday to prepare test data and test environment across Finance modules of Workday.
  • Lead a team of data stagers through the various phases of staging/execution.

The Person -

  • Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing schedules, and constantly evolving requirements. Project/Program Management certification preferred.
  • Ability to understand the scope of project and creating proposal, planning, estimations.
  • Hands on knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.
  • Visible leadership/managerial skills are a key factor for this position.
  • Experience with developing and implementing efficient QA processes and best practices.
  • Experience using QA metrics effectively.
  • Experience developing and working with onshore teams, experience engaging temporary outsource resources.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication, strong team ethic, and attention to details-be meticulous.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Stakeholder collaboration and communication.
  • Able to respectfully push back and prevent scope creep to prioritize tests to meet business requirements.
