SAP Test Engineer

As an SAP Test Engineer at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in the Diabetes Care division by preparing test scripts, developing new test cases, executing scripts, and preparing test reports within Digital Technology. Your responsibilities will include: - Completing all steps of the SDVLC documentation, including interpreting functional requirements, confirming requirements with functional business analysts, writing test plans, executing system integration testing, and documenting the process. - Contributing to identifying and implementing continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value for clients. - Maintaining a broad understanding of current testing software technologies. - Working independently to estimate, design, and deliver solutions. - Assisting in unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. - Ability to multitask assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendors. - Maintaining productive relationships with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration. - Developing and maintaining a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP testing, specifically with Material Master (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), Inventory Management (IM), Finance and Control (FI/CO). - Performing functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure the quality of the SAP implementation and upgrades. - Participating in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities. - Creating validation and compliance documents, including test plan and test summary reports. - Experience with creating automation test scripts using Selenium, Agile/Scrum, DevOps.
