SAP Security Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Security Analyst to join our team and provide expert-level support for SAP security across ECC and cloud-based SAP environments. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and operational stability of our SAP landscape through proactive security management, audit support, and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess SAP environments to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.
• Design and implement SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across ECC and cloud platforms.
• Configure and optimize SAP GRC Access Controls, Process Controls, and Identity Management.
• Develop and enforce SAP security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, sensitive access reviews, and remediation.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOX, GDPR) with documentation and evidence.
• Monitor and respond to SAP security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Recommend automation and enhancements to improve SAP security posture.
• Provide production support across development, QA, and live environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security issues in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Manage SAP role design, provisioning, and administration (composite/single roles).
• Support SAP security in all project phases: blueprinting, testing, go-live, and upgrades.
• Maintain GRC master data and perform risk analysis.
• Lead role redesign initiatives during upgrades or business transformations.
• Support integration with cloud platforms (Azure, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.).
• Provide end-user support and incident management for SAP security.
• Collaborate with BASIS and functional teams to ensure secure system operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• Minimum

  12+ years of experience

  in SAP Security Design, Implementation, and Administration.
• Minimum

  5+ years of experience

  with SAP GRC Access Control and SoD analysis.
• Experience with SAP ECC, BW, BI/BOBJ, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Transportation Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts and troubleshooting.
• Preferred Experience with SAP GRC
• Experience with LDAP and SAP Enterprise Portal provisioning.
• Knowledge of SAP BASIS functions and system monitoring.
• Experience supporting SAP security in hybrid environments (on-premise/cloud).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• Prior experience in the professional services industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and mitigating controls.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments and drive consensus.
