SAP SD-Lead

As the SAP SD Lead / Application Head at Birla Chemicals, your primary responsibility will be to drive and manage Sales & Distribution processes across global entities (India, Thailand, Germany, US, and China) within the SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work closely with the CIO and global IT teams to standardize business practices, ensure seamless SAP delivery, and align processes with organizational goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) module implementations and support across multiple geographies. - Collaborate with global business stakeholders to unify SAP processes across India, Thailand, Germany, US, and China. - Support integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PP, etc.) and external systems (C4C, analytics tools). - Ensure project delivery, change management, and quality management meet organizational standards. - Coordinate with remote and offshore delivery teams in a global delivery model. - Ensure compliance with local tax and business policies in each region. - Provide insights for process improvement, analytics, and reporting (MIS) to ensure a single source of truth for data. - Manage relationships with SAP Basis and infrastructure teams for performance and delivery support. - Contribute to solution roadmaps, integrating multiple processes and addressing short- and long-term business goals. - Evaluate emerging SAP and digital technologies for continuous value addition and innovation. **Key Skills & Competencies:** - Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) implementations and global rollouts. - Strong exposure to SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) integration. - Experience in service management, change & release management, and quality management frameworks. - Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within SAP environments. - Experience managing remote and multi-location teams in a global delivery model. - Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. - Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), B4HANA, or advanced analytics will be an advantage. **Education:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - SAP SD certification preferred.,
