SAP QM (Quality Management) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support

  SAP QM implementations, rollouts, and support projects

  in

  SAP ECC and S/4HANA

  environments.
• Configure and customize

  SAP QM processes

  , including:
• Quality Planning
  
• Quality Inspection
  
• Quality Notifications
  
• Quality Certificates
  
• Strong experience in

  Inspection Types (01, 04, 05, 08)

  ,

  Inspection Plans

  ,

  Sampling Procedures

  , and

  Results Recording

  .
• Configure

  Usage Decisions (UD)

  ,

  Defects Recording

  , and

  Catalogs

  .
• Integrate SAP QM with other SAP modules:
  

• MM (Procurement & GR Inspection)

• PP (In-process & Production Inspection)

• SD (Customer Complaints & Returns)

• Hands-on experience with

  S/4HANA QM simplifications

  , data model changes, and Fiori apps.
• Support

  ECC to S/4HANA migrations

  , including QM master data and transaction validation.
• Perform

  functional testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)

  and support go-live activities.
• Provide

  production support

  , issue analysis, and root-cause resolution within SLA.
• Prepare

  functional specifications

  and coordinate with ABAP teams for enhancements.
• Conduct

  end-user training

  , documentation, and KT sessions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand quality processes and propose best-practice solutions.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in

  SAP QM

• Strong experience in

  SAP S/4HANA QM

• Good understanding of

  manufacturing and quality processes

• Experience with

  Batch Management

  and

  Classification

  (preferred)
• Knowledge of

  QM in S/4HANA Fiori apps

• Exposure to

  IDocs, Enhancements, and Debugging (good to have)

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  

Good to Have

• Experience in

  SAP S/4HANA Greenfield / Brownfield projects

• Exposure to

  SAP WM / EWM integration with QM

• SAP QM or S/4HANA certification
  
• Experience working in

  AMS / Support + Implementation

  model
