SAP - Project Manager

The IT Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects for Blackboxs IT department. The Program Manager must have experience in managing, tracking IT related Projects. Must have experience in projects like SAP Implementation/ Oracle HCM implementation or experience in managing multiple other IT Applications.

The IT Program Manager will report to the VP & Head - IT and will be part of the IT Project Management Organization.

Essential Functions:

• Interface with VP & Head - IT to provide strategic and tactical advice on project, program, and portfolio planning and execution.
• Develop best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
• Able to present and communicate updates on critical projects to the C Level. Provides support to IT VPs and Global CTO for Executive Meetings: IT Monthly status Reports etc
• Directs PMOs project managers and team in:
• Governance and implementation of processes, methodologies, tools and products
• Identifying, building and delivering project management training curriculum, programs and courses around the culture and methodologies that apply to the organization
• Project Change Management processes and tools
• Preparing and reviewing recurring program and project status reports.
• Facilitating the identification and escalation of issues and risks.
• Facilitating the management of resource capacity planning across all projects in the portfolio and communicating effectively with senior management.
• Facilitating the audit of required project deliverables and documentation for existing projects to determine how effectively the project management process is being utilized within the organization; meet the minimum ITPMO governance standards, the company’s internal audit process and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Provides maintenance of project-related software tools, maintains project management software standards, and acquires project management software and supporting software. When applicable identifies software, facilitates or performs the integration and use of software, and maintains and monitors its performance.

Education Requirements:

• Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.

Experience Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience using knowledge, process management systems (VISIO, MS Excel, MS Projects, MS Planner).
• Industry standard Project Management Certifications such as PMP, is added value

• Understanding of IT Platform requirements general requirements related to ERP, SAP, IT Infra and Full Stack/ Web Technologies
• Preferred experience in design/deployment business process responsibilities involving complex requirements assessment, process/procedure design and implementation within the technology services industry.

• Excellent problem solving and systems analysis skills with demonstrated success in root cause analysis, effectiveness measurements and related documentation.
• Deep understanding of research, analyses and recommend improvements to organization’s business process in order to improve organization performance.
• Studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Develops project plans, communicate changes and may provide training to various IT and business teams
• Demonstrated experience of continuously expanding and leveraging knowledge of technology, market and industry trends with success in identifying, recommending and implementing best practices and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively across all functional groups to optimize product & service offerings, fostering seamless internal and external client experience and track record of timely and accurate issue resolution.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, service delivery management tools such as ServiceNow and related cloud-based technology systems.
