SAP Production Planning Consultant

As a SAP PP, VC Consultant with 5+ to 8 years of experience, you will be based in Baner, Pune. Your core technical skills should include expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP VC (Variant Configuration) with a strong background in creating variant models, integration experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP MM (Material Management), along with knowledge in SAP BOM (Bill of Materials) and Routing, particularly Super BOMs and Super Routings, pricing configuration in SAP, and experience with dependencies, classes, and characteristics in VC. Your responsibilities will involve PP-VC Model Development and Configuration, including designing and configuring variant models to meet business requirements, managing super Bill of Materials (BOMs) and super routings, configuring complex product requirements using characteristics, classes, and dependencies, and ensuring smooth integration between SAP Variant Configuration and other modules such as Sales & Distribution, Material Management, and Production Planning. You will also be responsible for change management, version control, testing, documentation, reporting, collaboration with stakeholders, and customization for specific industries like manufacturing and engineering. Your soft skills and communication abilities are crucial, as you will be working closely with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors. You should be comfortable with requirement gathering, client communication, stakeholder collaboration, and participating in daily meetings or Agile practices. Additionally, your knowledge of change/version control in SAP, experience in Product Lifecycle Management, and continuous improvement mindset will be valuable assets in this role.
