SAP PPDS

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage

  daily batch jobs

  related to SAP PP and PP-DS processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in

  scheduled background jobs

  , including:
• Intercompany movements between US and Canada
• Inventory adjustments and variance reporting
• Production planning and order creation
• Stock Transport Requisition (STR) creation for single and mixed loads
• Multi-line STR date reconciliation
• Scheduling dunnage runs and production order generation
• Settlement receiver validation and updates
• Planning board updates and handling of exception messages
• Stock Transport Orders (STOs) related to Third-Party Logistics Operator (TLO) runs
• TLO execution coordination and production order releases
• STR to STO conversion processes
• SAP to MES integration verification for production order confirmations
• Custom table data validation for shipping/delivery updates
• Liaise with business stakeholders to

  analyze and resolve functional issues

  .
• Document recurring errors, propose permanent solutions, and

  escalate where necessary

  .
• Participate in

  end-to-end testing

  , data validation, and planning cycle activities.
• Support

  cutover, hypercare

  , and

  post-go-live

  activities as part of deployment phases.

Requirements

• Minimum of

  3 years of experience

  in

  SAP PP and/or PP-DS

  , preferably in a

  manufacturing or CPG

  environment.
• Strong functional understanding of:

• Intercompany production flows

• STR/STO/TLO processes

• Production order lifecycle and supply chain integration

• Familiar with

  SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

  platforms.
• Experience resolving

  batch job failures

  and system integration issues.
• Hands-on with

  custom tables

  ,

  data validation

  , and

  exception handling

  .
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with technical and functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a

  dynamic, distributed team environment

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting

  SAP-MES integration

  for production execution.
• Background in

  SAP APO or PP/DS heuristic planning

  , planning board configuration.
• Involvement in

  SAP implementation, rollout, or support

  across

  US-Canada operations
