Sap PP production & Control Discrete Industries

You are a highly motivated SAP PP Consultant specializing in Production Planning & Control (Discrete Industries). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and optimizing SAP PP solutions to align with specific business processes. Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth production operations and successful integration of SAP PP with other business modules. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and deliver solutions that enhance system performance, usability, and productivity. Your key responsibilities will include independently managing SAP PP (Discrete Industries) configuration and implementation activities, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Production Planning, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborating with teams to ensure effective integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and WM. You will also be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, resolving issues in production planning workflows, and preparing documentation for process flows, configurations, and end-user training materials. To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP - Discrete Industries, a strong understanding of production planning processes in SAP, and proficiency in SAP PP master data management. Additionally, experience in MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Production Orders is essential. Familiarity with SAP integration with MM, SD, and other modules is required. Nice to have skills include experience in SAP S/4HANA environment, exposure to interfaces like IDOCs and BAPIs, knowledge of ABAP debugging, and involvement in data migration activities. Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest SAP methodologies relevant to discrete manufacturing are encouraged.
